A day he had dreamt of
He stood on the front porch and he felt butterflies and his breath was shallow. He was about to see his baby girl. But this time, she was in her wedding gown. Today was the day he was giving her away. He paused. It was like a lifetime flashed in front of his eyes. Where did the time go? Jen opened the door behind him. She quietly stepped onto the front porch. Time slowed down. She softly put her hand on his shoulder. He turned around and was in awe of his little girl. The beauty of his daughter flooded his heart. He knew this day would come. Jen looked to her dad, as she had so many times before. Before she could ask the question, he answered “you are so beautiful”. Jen and Steve’s Windsor Wedding was one for the books!
St. Simon and St. Jude Parish
Jen and Steveโs wedding day may have had us shed a tear or two. Looking back on their images, we are reminded of the precious nature of what we do. Surrounded by family from nearby, across Canada, Ireland, and beyond, their wedding was held at St. Simon and St. Jude Parish in Belle River. The church has a beautiful cathedral ceiling and columns! We loved how their wedding ceremony included both Jen and Steve’s parents gathering around them to pray for them. It was incredible to watch them receiev this special blessing on their new journey as husband and wife!
Ruscom Shores Conservation Area & Fogolar Furlan in Windsor
After the ceremony, we had some fun at Ruscom Shores Conservation Area. This gem is a sanctuary of natural beauty. Their reception was held at the Fogolar Furlan located in Windsor. With a rustic theme with wood, greenery, and glam touches, their Windsor wedding day was gorgeous. These two are a perfect match, and weโve had a lot of fun getting to know them and hanging out with them both at their engagement session and on their big day. Jen and Steve, keep being silly together, being each others’ biggest fans, and building the home, family, and future of your dreams together.
