Jen & Steve | Point Pelee Engagement in Leamington, Ontario
She looked at him and couldnโt stop giggling. Here they were standing on the shore of Lake Erie. It was all coming together. Their story had started in high school, but then they parted ways. Jen and Steve travelled the globe on their own separate journeys. Jen found herself oceanside on the other side of the world and Steve was mountainside in western Canada. But just like a good love story, they both found themselves in the same city once again as they made their way back home to Windsor. And soon enough, they reconnected. They realized that they had something really special together. Steve found a gorgeous ring for Jen. He then crafted a beautiful rustic backyard proposal complete with twinkle lights (Jenโs favourite!) and asked Jen if she would be his wife! We are so happy that fate brought them back together and that she said yes because these guys are AMAZING together!
Jen and Steve were so much fun to be with!! You can just tell that they are crazy about each other. Jen is a carefree beauty, intelligent, kind and a jokester. Steve is incredibly thoughtful, uber talented with landscaping and woodworking, and one of those guys that takes such good care of the people in his life. Together, they have an electric dynamic. You canโt help but smile in their presence. For their engagement session we travelled to Leamington, Ontario and explored Point Pelee National Park. Point Pelee was a perfect match for this nature loving couple. Gently lit clouds hovered over Lake Erie. The grass was vibrant and the boardwalk sunset like a dream. Jen and Steve got out some sparklers and popped some bubbly to celebrate! It was also the Festival of the Birds when we visited! Yellow finches, cardinals, red-winged blackbirds, geese and their babies were out and about and singing in the background for this sweet spring engagement session. Jen and Steveโs love for each other was a joy to witness. Such good things are coming their way. Soon they will be husband and wife and we are lucky we got to capture their engagement at Point Pelee Conservation Area! We are so excited for their wedding this year!ย // D&S
