The Dreamiest Port Stanley Engagement Session

Krista & Jeff’s Port Stanley Engagement Session was like something out of the Notebook. These two beautiful humans are getting married and for their session, they wanted to include their little ones in addition to having a photo session with just the two of them. You can see their sun-kissed family session here. This dreamy Port Stanley engagement session included the two things we love most: a stunning landscape and photographing soul mates.

How it all began

The story of Krista and Jeff started when Krista and her friend rented their place from Jeff. Back then when Jeff was Krista’s landlord, there wasn’t even a chance of a spark. But when they saw each other four years later at Joe Kools, fireworks went off! Jeff was going to propose on their Thailand trip but couldn’t get the ring insurance in time. So he proposed instead on Christmas Day with car mats (because what girl doesn’t need those?!) — and a ring!

As the sun began to set and their family session wrapped up, we pulled Krista and Jeff away for some time just for them! Krista’s deep red maxi dress was perfection, and the golden light paired with Jeff’s suit was the most romantic way to cap off summer! They popped some bubbly and shared glasses to celebrate their upcoming day. The connection these two have is electric and it shows in their photos!

A dress for me a tux for you

When Krista showed up to part two session in a deep red satin maxi down and Jeff in a tux, we knew this was going to be something magical. You just can’t go wrong with a formal gown and a suit even if it’s not your regular attire. We love how formal clothing transforms and elevates the feel of a session so effortlessly! Krista looked absolutely perfect and stunning in her gown, and paired with bare feet and toes in the sand, it was nothing short of amazing to capture all of the moments between these two.

A family occasion at Port Stanley beach

The golden light on Port Stanley beach is always so stunning and never disappoints. But absolutely the highlight was these two and the love and admiration they share for one another, and also their passion to build a family and life that is happy and beautiful together. This was so apparent in spending time with these two and all of their precious littles! We are officially counting down to your day Krista and Jeff! We’re so excited for your upcoming wedding day when we get to see everyone again and capture all of the big love that the two of you share and that everyone shares for you! D&S
