The best day
It’s hard to know where to start with Amy and Kyle since we are crazy fans of these two! But it’s not hard to see all the joy on them on their big day! If you haven’t seen their adventurous winter engagement session yet, you can see that here. We knew their Ukraina Country Club wedding day would be perfect because they love each other so well. And they are truly well-loved by so many. Keep reading for wedding highlights from one of the best couples we know!
Perfectly matched
Amy is one of those people that changes the atmosphere with her attitude and her smile. She’s a creative soul who brings a lot of beauty to the world through her art, her singing voice, and by advocating for mental wellness. Kyle is calm, quieter, a steady kind of guy, and has an amazing sense of humour! He’s the complete opposite but the perfect match for Amy. Together these two are an incredible team (which may or may not be related to the fact that they play video games together)!
Wedding written in the stars
Amy and Kyle’s love story started before they even knew each other (yup, get ready for a love story with a good dash of destiny!). They went to the same elementary school (they were one grade apart). But they only met when they were both working at the awesome Race Roster.
Fast forward through their first date of playing Halo and Amy winning, and it was obvious that Kyle had a pretty awesome date… When you have a girl who can beat a guy at Halo, that’s a pretty standout lady in our opinion! It’s no surprise that clicked so quickly. And we are so happy we got to document their wedding day because the energy and joy was contagious and an absolute highlight this year!
Loved by many
Our most favourite thing about Amy and Kyle’s day was seeing and feeling the serious amount of love that all of their friends and family poured on them. And their wedding party was so AWESOME. The love we saw just confirmed how special they are. The thing we love most is that their portraits speak volumes about how much fun they have just being together!
Ukraina Country Club Wedding
Amy and Kyle’s Ukraina Club wedding day was gorgeous. There were so many manicured outdoor backgrounds and scenes that provided a dreamy backdrop for their portraits. In addition, the leaves had started changing colour and it was the perfect amount of colour minus the chill of a typical fall day! The Ukraina Country Club definitely delivers in beauty on the grounds, and we can’t wait to be back! From the bridge to the arbour, and tunnels of trees and the river, it was a photographer’s dream!
A little girls dream
It was so fun capturing Amy’s getting ready! The moment Amy got into her dress, she just kept on twirling! We had hoped to capture some of her cats so when Nova made a hesitant appearance, we moved quickly to capture Amy with her fur baby!
Incredible wedding favours
Their perfectly classy autumn wedding reception was filled with laughter, eucalyptus greenery, twinkle lights and white baby pumpkins! And they arranged perhaps the best wedding favours we’ve every seen (and tasted!) — wedding donuts from London’s famous Boxcar Donuts! (We’ve never seen guests this excited for a wedding favour!!).
At the end of days like these, are hearts are so happy that we do what we do. It’s not a job, it’s an absolute passion to record what we do through the lens. Sometimes the joy we feel and receive back is overwhelming. And that was the case for Amy and Kyle’s wedding. It was such an honour to capture their first day as husband and wife! Amy & Kyle we wish you the most blessed continued adventure together through life, you are a meant-to-be-team and we can’t wait to see the treasures that the future holds for the two of you! D&S
