Kristen & Tom | Kitchener Ontario Intimate Backyard Wedding

Kristen and Tom’s wedding day was one marked with cheer, joy, and the presence of a lot of good friends and family. The day began at Kristen’s parents’ home. Her Dad’s red Challenger was parked in the garage, and when we saw it we were hoping it would make an appearance during the wedding. And it did! There are some occasions in life where you can tell the bonds go really deep, and for these two, it was really clear that all of the people surrounding them were not only well-loved but they loved Kristen and Tom well. We were especially struck by the close bonds in their families. It’s the kind of connection that really fills your heart up as a wedding photographer. And they were a REALLY fun bunch too! These two adore each other. It not hard to see it in their photos! These two had their First Look at Victoria Park with their wedding party watching from a distance. After Tom got to see his gorgeous bride in her stunning gown, we had some time with their wedding party at the Victoria Park bridge and overlooking the river. Kristen and Tom then brought their whole wedding party to their favourite watering hole! Together We’re Bitter Breweries (TWB) is such a great hangout for beer connoisseurs. This gem has a sweet vibe and it was so good to capture the wedding party sharing a drink before the ceremony! It was a great opportunity for everyone to pause and enjoy the occasion! After a hearty toast, we headed to their ceremony. Their wedding ceremony was held in the family backyard, and was such a pretty sight. Lined with trees, sunshine, and anticipating guests, Kristen walked through the garden doors on her father’s arm, and down the aisle to Tom. Their ceremony was intimate and beautiful! Afterwards, we headed to their reception at the Dundee Community Centre. Their reception venue was transformed beautifully. As the night dialled down, tears of happiness were shed throughout speeches and dances with parents.
