Somehow we managed to evade visiting this gem of a place up to now. But this Fanshawe Conservation area engagement session made up for any loss in spades! Jess and Rudy made our job too easy. But the real magic was the wild love and devotion they truly have for each other. This connection made it so much fun to photograph their engagement session!

What you need to know about our visit to Fanshawe: We can’t believe it but we’ve been in London for 5 years this July! We’ve always heard about Fanshawe Conservation Area here-and-there from other photographers. But being there was beyond what we imagined! We’ve been really lucky to get some fantastic travel under our belts and soak in some beautiful sites, and this is a local visit we want to incorporate into our family traditions! It was also the first time Jess and Rudy visited, and they made a promise to make this a tradition, too! The beauty there is just so stunning.

For Jess and Rudy’s London, Ontario engagement session, we captured some of the best nature-inspired backgrounds you’ll find in London Ontario. We visited the row of pines, grassy fields, and our new personal favourite, a field of wildflowers! Combined with the sweet romance that these two share, the ambience of their session was so memorable and special!

Now, all we have left to do is to count down to their big day with a lot of anticipation! If their engagement session is any indicator of the magic that we’ll be capturing on their wedding day, we know it’s going to be a day that is going to be amazing!
