We were over the moon hanging out with Diana and Dan at their winter sunset engagement session in Port Stanley! This beach session looked a little different than first planned. We love brainstorming ways to make our couples’ sessions feel extra special. We thought it would surely be a snowy day, but mother nature had other plans… that worked out even better! Don’t be fooled, this session was chilly! But the warmth you are about to see can make even the coldest day feel like the kind of hug that makes everything just melt away.

A family of four

Diana Bryans, a singer-songwriter with a big love for her pups and her sweetheart Dan, was such a joy to photograph. Dan is the kind of guy that is so lovable. It was so clear just how much he is smitten by her! This little family, and all the little touches that added to this session, were so fun to capture.

Winter boho beach details

Complete with toques, a cozy wrap, skates, hot drinks and more, this winter beach session was truly dreamy. And the highlight of course were Diana and Dan’s pups, Jolene and Jessie! A mix of neutrals of earthy and warm pastel tones were the perfect complement to the hazy setting sun and frozen landscape. The iced shoreline, waves frozen, made time feel like it was standing still for these two. And as though waiting for them, there was a driftwood frame shelter standing on the sandy shore. With lights strung across, it was the perfect boho getaway for Diana and Dan and their pups to cuddle up!
