He walked in the front door and stood in place; took a deep breath and adjusted his suit jacket collar. This is the moment he has waited for all of his life. It’s the kind of moment that all Dad’s eventually think about when they hear the three words, “it’s a girl”. And now it was happening. She walked down the stairs. Her eyes were filled with joy and flooded with tears. This was the day she had dreamt about. And it still felt like a dream. She was about to marry her best friend. She couldn’t wait to see her Dad, he was after all the first man who won her heart. Their eyes met. In that moment, she was still his little girl, but now in a wedding gown. And he was about to give his daughter to the man she had been waiting to for, the man who had won both her heart and the heart of their family.
We were so honoured to capture the love of Angela and Michael at their Club Roma Wedding. Their wedding was such a perfect day, filled with the love of two of the most loving families we have ever come across. Angela, with her gorgeous red hair and charm, was SO lovely on her wedding day. She wore a stunning champagne lace dress and we even got to see Cooper, their sweet fur baby, with a tie on! Michael (such a great guy!) was looking incredibly dapper as usual – and can we just say his hair always looks good. Angela and Michael had their wedding ceremony at Club Roma’s garden and reception in the ballroom.
Club Roma
Club Roma is a beautiful wedding venue with a lot of variety. Their wedding combined a rustic garden theme during the ceremony alongside classic black tie elegance at their reception. For their portraits we went to Ball’s Falls conservation area. The barns, greenery, and surrounding forest made this bride’s rustic wedding vision come true!
We loved our day with these two and are so excited for their future together. Best friends for years, together they make an amazing couple. And their families were so lovely and made us feel so welcomed (to the point where we felt like we were part of the family!). By the end of the night we were sad that we had to leave! Angela and Michael, we know the two of you have so much adventure and blessing ahead on your journey together. Always be each others’ biggest fans, and say hello to sweet Cooper for us! /// D&S
