We loved working with Emily and Mark! For their engagement session, we went to the barn where Emily’s horses, Lightning and Misty, stay. Emily’s cuddly coonhound Chester, joined in on the fun, too. Emily and Mark are both dairy farmers! How awesome is it when you get to share your passion with your better half. Emily and Mark contacted us before they were even engaged. Mark proposed to Emily the very next day after we spoke with them. He proposed at the Muskokas, where he nervously popped the question. To which Emily, of course, answered, yes! When you find someone who just gets you, it’s a really special thing. These two were on fire at their session, they have such an amazing connection and energy when they are together. The sun was weaving in and out, but It was also mighty cold, probably the coldest it has been so far this fall. But these two were troopers. You know you really love someone when the cold won’t stop you from having fun together. We even saw snowflakes! It was pretty special to have their favourite animals join us, too. Emily is a huge animal lover and got both Chester and Lightning when they were babies. Emily is a sweetheart (and couldn’t Mark pass as Leonardo DiCaprio’s brother?). We think it’s pretty neat that we will be celebrating their wedding day on the farm. It’s an important part of who they are and their life passion. We are really looking forward to their wedding! Even better, they are both Dutch(!) and so we know it’s going to be a pretty sweet occasion surrounded by family and friends. And… it’s been promised that her animals will definitely be making an appearance. We are counting down the days to seeing you again Emily and Mark! Enjoy these highlights from their incredible farm session! // D&S
