A Mom & Sons’ Wintery Family Session | Springbank Park in London, Ontario

To all the boy moms out there – you ROCK! Anyone that knows Kathryn can attest to how she is a multi-talented and a much-loved wonder – singer, songwriter, musician, down-to-earth church leader, and that’s just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. True, she always manages to have perfect rockstar hair. And her witty sense of humour and way with words is world class. Like all great women, she is multi-dimensional, brave, and inspirational. But one of the things she is most known for in her close circle is the big love and devotion she has for her two incredible teenage sons. When Dylan and I found out we were having [spoiler alert!] a baby boy (!), she was one of the first to proclaim “boys are amazing!!!!” (p.s. more to come on this special announcement soon!). And anyone that knows her boys know that THIS is the truth. Noah and Aaron are the kinds of young men who are world changers. Noah has this way of getting a smile on your face effortlessly, and he is not afraid to go against the grain, make people think, and make things better than how he found it – something that is rare and so valuable in the kind of world we live in. Aaron is the younger brother, and a young man who is thoughtful, intelligent, with stand-out character and the kind of person whom we know is going to go so far in life! We really are proud of who they are. Together, this trio is basically a party in a box and bring joy to all who know them. For their family session, Kathryn and her boys braved the cold for the sake of capturing some of their awesome craziness! For this memorable family photo shoot, we all ventured to Springbank Park for a perfect wintery session with the beautiful Thames river a stone throws away backed by evergreens, snow, the crisp air, and lots of laughter. // D&S
