The theme of this gorgeous wedding was the Amalfi coastline at sunset set against heirloom Italian vineyards. The day began with sunshine flooding over the vineyards of this Kurtz Orchards wedding. Delicate florals by Flora & Farfalla in chantilly, apricot, sage and lavender tones created the ultimate romance.

Kurtz Orchards’ endless groves

This gorgeous Kurtz Orchards wedding, located in Niagara-on-The-Lake, was a stunning backdrop. Rows of vines and orchards, and groves of old trees provided old-world romance. A nod to Amalfi’s vineyards, this vineyard was the perfect setting. Combined with the chosen colour inspiration, the effect was pure romance.

Behind the scenes: Colour inspiration

Kassia Tjia Events came across an inspiration image of the Amalfi Coastline at sunset. In the photo, the setting sun cast golden light on rows-upon-rows of coastline homes, pegged along the ocean’s edge. A mix of terra cotta, apricot, chantilly, lavender, and sage tones filled the image. The magic of juxtaposing the setting sun with vineyards and groves created an inspiring palette!

What she was wearing

The bride’s attire and accessories were from Feather & Pearl Boutique. Feather & Pearl is a stunning shop that every bride needs to visit! Harper wore the prettiest lingerie with nude tones and lace-designed Rara Avis lingerie. Ida Torez designed her ethereal Venue lace, paired with chantilly clay earrings for a playful match.

The bride’s hair and makeup were natural and so gorgeous. Presley Foskett did the makeup; it was radiant and highlighted the bride’s natural beauty perfectly. Allyssa Helm styled Harper’s hair in natural waves. We always adore photographing the work of Presley & Allyssa. Finally, the bride’s engagement and wedding bands were stunning! Petite crescent matching pavé rings by Tacori from Gordon’s Gold were stunning. Callum wore a Mono Uomo suit with a unique nude knit tie.

All the Pretty details

As for the paper goods, stationery by Olumis Calligraphy provided a beautiful modern romantic design. Washed-out peach tones paired with gold leaf and handdrawn florals. The Dessert Room carried these elements over to the cake design using gold leaf and nude hand-drawn florals.

Romance at Niagara-on-the-Lake

Harper and Callum shared their vows under an olive tree. Held in the orchard, their reception was an intimate golden-hour celebration with their closest friends and family. The tablescape was beautiful and included nude and gold tones, furnished by Simply Beautiful Decor. The Dessert Room designed a 3-tier chantilly wedding cake, graced with gold and a floral design. Harper and Callum stole another kiss and sipped sweetheart Bellinis in the grove!

The sunset at Kurtz Orchards

The day ended with a vintage Italian Vespa right to celebrate! The sun that set that night was like nothing we had ever seen. The big sun changed to a burning coral hue as it faded into the horizon. Harper and Callum danced under their setting sky. With inspiration from abroad and surrounded by their closest friends and family, they felt right at home.
