Bayan and Adam’s Lebanese wedding day was an incredible party celebrating such a beautiful couple. We first met Bayan at her friend’s Boler mountain wedding last year and fell in love with her kind heart then and there! When she asked us to be their wedding photographers, we were honoured. We photographed their engagement session earlier this year at Grandbend.
Their Double Tree wedding celebration in London, Ontario was one for the books! This sweeping ballroom wedding was decorated to the nines and it was classic and vibrant. There’s just something so timeless and perfect about black-tie weddings with some fun thrown in, and Lebanese weddings are always a guaranteed party!
If you have never had the opportunity to attend a Lebanese wedding celebration before, you need to do so the next time you get the chance! While Adam was getting ready, the house was filled with celebration, dancing, eating, and a lot of family rejoicing. In Arab weddings, once the groom is ready, he travels to the bride’s home to see his love and have more celebration and dancing with friends and family all around! Drums, fancy dance moves, more food, and so much happiness filled their day. This Doubletree by Hilton wedding was one huge celebration!
For portraits, we scouted locations in advance that matched the classic and romantic dream and vision that Bayan had. We were up for the challenge, since classic romance is one of our most favourite vibes! There are so many great wedding portrait locations in London, Ontario. We landed on Western University and found some great lesser-known spots that are tucked away little gems, too! We love how the architecture at Western can be so incredibly romantic (and make you feel like you are in Europe).
Here’s one thing you need to know about these two: Bayan and Adam are very authentic people. And you can tell just by looking at their portraits how much admiration they share for one another. It was a beautiful honour to photograph their connection. Together, they are a stunning pair! And Bayan truly has a royal gracefulness about her, she made such a gorgeous bride.
The celebration continued at the Doubletree. The live band, a huge dance floor filled with celebration, drummers, and an electric atmosphere was contagious! The energy at Lebanese weddings is unmatched and we felt so welcomed and at home amongst Adam and Bayan’s beautiful family!
Adam’s mom, Anessa (we’ve never seen a mother’s love so strong) put in so much heart and soul into planning their wedding celebration. There were so many little thoughtful details that were worked into the reception. Heartfelt details always inspire us. Adam’s late father, Mohammad Nazem, was greatly missed at the wedding celebration and we know he’d be so overjoyed to see Bayan and Adam so in love on their wedding day. His brother Sam, Adam’s uncle, stood in place with so much love and support for his nephew.
Special details included how Adam’s Dad’s favourite chocolates were served at the reception entrance for everyone to enjoy to honour such a wonderful life. Anessa also wrote a letter to Adam and a letter to Bayan telling them her wedding wishes and blessings, which she had placed on their plates to be discovered when they sat down during the reception! And as a toast to his bride, Adam sang a love song to Bayan in front of everyone during speeches! With these, and many other special touches, there was a whole lot of love flowing on Adam and Bayan’s wedding day.
Adam and Bayan, we are so proud of who the two of you are together. We are so happy for your new life together, and wish you all of the greatest blessings in your future. We will always cheer for you and are excited as you begin the greatest chapter of your lives. What a beautiful legacy it is going to be. We hope these photos always take you back to the beginning; your love for each other is a precious thing.
