With over 175 years of history and legacy, this five-storey 19th century mill was constructed with local quarried rock, including unique heart-shaped fossils found in its stone walls. Equally charming are its unmatched panoramic views, romantic interiors including hand-carved beams, 12-foot ceilings, and exposed stone work, and a world-class, memorable experience for you and your guests.

The Gallery provides one of the most romantic and intimate settings for groups of up to 130 guests. Nestled within this historic venue, exquisite craftsmanship includes expansive 14-foot ceilings, hand blown glass chandeliers, limestone walls, exposed beams and pillars, and beautiful etched glass windows.

THE WATERFRONT ROOM & GARDEN TERRACE
The Waterfront room is known for its elegance and beauty. Perfect for intimate celebrations up to 100 guests, highlights includes limestone walls, a wood burning fireplace and casement windows which highlight the Mill's grand history. The Garden Terrace with retractable glass walls is included.
The Juliet Balcony
While your guests enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, slip away to enjoy your husband and wife portraits! In addition to photos with the Mill, and the close-by Mills Race Park, visit the Juliet Balcony. Overlooking Grand River, the Juliet Balcony offers breathtaking riverside views.
Cambridge Mill provides a fantastic suite for refreshing and retouching. For your actual getting ready locations, we recommend reserving a room at Langdon Hall or a close-by Airbnb that offers plenty of large windows, natural light, and space. As an option to optimize coverage time, the groom can do a mock up of getting ready at the Mill.
There are many prime locations for family portraits. Either onsite or a stone's throw to Mill Race Park. Family portraits are stress-free with the option to stay on-site, providing great use of coverage time and the perfect backdrop for pictures with your loved ones.
Indoor ceremonies should be scheduled no later than 3 hours before sunset. This allows you to take advantage of natural light for your photos and portraits after your vows! We love how Cambridge Mill wedding ceremonies at the Pavilion give the feeling of being outdoors and overlooking the river without the stress of inclement weather.
Yes, and Sparkler exits are always beautiful and romantic! Dylan & Sandra Photography encourage all of their couples to plan a fun exit at least once during their day. From earth-friendly biodegradeable confetti, petals, bubbles, or sparklers, planning in this extra touch makes for beautiful photo memories.
Planning at least one hour for bride and groom portraits will allow you both time to decompress, have some fun, and enjoy the many photo opportunities at the Cambridge Mill. Portrait location options include the grounds surrounding the mill, the Juliet balcony, and if you want some extra variety you can quickly head over to Mill Race Park.
Executive Chef Joel LaBute and his culinary team operate right on site at Cambridge Mill. Chef Joel & his team are renowned for their exquisite refined rustic farm-to-table cuisine. Using the finest local ingredient, the cuisine is an experience that will be memorable for you and your guests.
