Kristen & Tom | Grand Bend Beach Engagement

There’s something about how these two relate to each other that’s just so sweet. There’s an almost childlike joy when they get together. And there’s also this witty sarcastic side that makes hanging out with them so laid back and fun. For their engagement session, we headed off to the beautiful sandy shores of Lake Huron in Grand Bend. The day of their session, it rained on the way there. We were hoping and praying the rain would stay away. And it did! Once at the beach shore, the sky had this surreal watercolour effect. It really did look like a painted masterpiece. And the lake was a serene light blue! It was gorgeous. Because Kristen and Tom got engaged at this beach, it made their beach session even more special!

As we walked along the water’s edge, we made our way to the lifeguard lookout (where Tom was originally going to propose!), to the lighthouse, and the surrounding area. We then capped off their beach session at the family cottage. Our time with Kristen and Tom was amazing and we are really looking forward to hanging out with them again at their upcoming wedding! Congratulations Kristen and Tom on your engagement, we are so excited for the days ahead for you two — and the sweet memories you are going to continue to make at the family cottage in the years to come! /// D&S
